Migration Narratives and the Power of Community Care
This Thursday, on the 17th of August, we will gather in Engels, a cafe in the heart of Neukölln, Berlin, for a Panel Discussion, Q&A and Live Music Performance. We will explore the intersection of mental health, self-care, and community, through the lens of cultural heritage and the experience of migration.
This event is organised in connection with our project GEZUMI (Unsere Gesellschaft als Zuhause für Menschen mit Migrationshintergrund), launched this year, providing a network of moderated peer support groups for people with migration backgrounds in Berlin, Frankfurt (Oder) and Halle (Saale). Through our event, moderated by GEZUMI project manager Maria, we hope to bring the discussion on mental health and migration to the wider community.
