Hello,
Summer is in full bloom, inviting us into the sun, under the trees, on the meadows, by the lake. We followed this call and went together to a small event in a park in Berlin, you can read about it in “happenings”. Please find as well an insight into the current work of the Fridays for Future movement and how organisations like Hudara can support it in an interview with activist Dennis Gerog (“puzzling pieces together”). In “voices from the field” we report on our work with energy communities in Mayotte, which has continued despite the pandemic. And finally, our team member Maria introduces herself and describes what inspires her (“get to know us!”).
We hope you enjoy reading and send you warm wishes

Kick-off for mitigating social and climate problems through energy communities in Mayotte

Our project leader, Tidian, gives insights into his work, noting that any initiative for technological innovation should focus on people’s perspectives and priorities…

He describes his work for the movement, its current situation and how organisations like Hudara support…

No time to see, when woods we pass, where squirrels hide their nuts in grass. No time to see, in broad daylight, streams full of stars like skies at night (…)“ wrote W. H. Davies in his poem “Leisure”. And so it is, sometimes our lives are full of worries…

Get to know us!

For centuries people have been able to find ways to cope with pain and celebrate joy, and I am dedicated to honoring these ways while gathering new methods that allow us to offer people even more opportunities to heal themselves…
